China: 21st Century “Superpower"

The post-Cold War era is an era of tremendous changes, marked by new forms of imperialism, global economic governance, globalization, capitalism, and the key to the balance of power. Since the Peace of Westphalia, the hierarchical system and sovereign state no longer resemble the international system. The international society is determined by "the degree of power: world powers, big countries, central powers, small countries, so the division continues..." (Dunn, 2, 2007). In the last decade of the 20th century, important new developments took place. They have affected the structure of the international system and fundamentally changed the relationship between national, international and global actors.

Although the end of the Cold War eased the polarization and imposed the universal concept of liberal democracy in the West (Diplomatic Agenda, 27, 2006), the global financial crisis of 2007-2010 diluted the unipolar world of the United States as the main hegemony Redefining the current order; in particular, the prevailing hegemonic order (in which the hegemonic class takes the initiative, organizational conflicts and instability form the political unity of the country’s ruling class) is being questioned, and even threatens China as suggested by various scholars. And its emerging status in the world (Hoffman, 189, 1975). The global financial crisis is one of the most serious crises in modern history; it has touched the export-oriented economies of Asia, and in particular has brought some unexpected consequences to China. This crisis has greatly changed the economic reality, questioned the future of the international monetary system and the multilateral system, and obviously questioned the role of China. In addition, this crisis has raised questions about China's ability to develop peacefully, maintain economic growth and political stability, while simultaneously gaining imperial power and even replacing or changing American hegemony. She will study how the crisis and its consequences have accelerated China's political, economic and social recovery. She believes that the global financial crisis has given China an opportunity to play a global leadership role in existing multilateral institutions while strengthening its bilateral position. Both economically and politically. By strengthening Sino-US relations, China may gain an influential position in the G20 and other multilateral institutions. Finally, this article concludes that China’s influence in the international financial system is increasing, but it should not be overestimated; on the contrary, China must regard this historic moment as a re-establishment of a national consensus on the future direction of China’s domestic and foreign policies. Opportunity, and the United States must view its China policy as a means to an end. The purpose itself (Economía, 152, 2010).

History: From national protectionism to open door policy:-

Emerging powers can be defined as "the emergence of emerging powers, and they may play a prominent role in the international system. Compared with other countries, military and economic related to the internal environment , Politics or other factors" (Leonard, 2002). The lifting effect is usually unpredictable and brings great uncertainty to the global environment. In view of China's growing international role, it is important to first outline China's basic historical outline from the 1970s. If we try to understand China’s complicated local history, we can begin to better understand how China’s modernization path got to where it is today. Today, I will reflect on the challenges China may face, and even the challenges it may bring to the international community. In a sense, the real Germany was also humiliated by the great powers to seek its place in the world. China is “determined to achieve its due status in a harmonious manner through nationalistic self-confidence” (Wolfowitz 1997, p. 7). After the death of Mao Zedong in 1976, China's political system has undergone major changes. In December 1978, Deng Xiaoping rejected Mao Zedong's ultra-left policy, and the Communist Party of China made a “commitment to modernization, large-scale economic development, and the rule of law” (Hutton, 97, 2007). From now on, China’s path has been called “gradual reform”. This is a process that the Chinese government has cautiously initiated in solving the problems that have arisen in reforms, especially local problems.
